Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo is an open innovation campus where businesses, researchers, students and governments come together to work on healthy and sustainable nutrition. The campus focuses on Healthy and Sustainable Nutrition, Future Farming and Biocircular Economy, and offers shared research opportunities, pilot and demonstration facilities where companies can develop, test and validate new technologies before market implementation. The campus works closely with Maastricht University and other educational institutions.
Process & Engagement
The campus is home to many companies and connects researchers, entrepreneurs and students in multidisciplinary innovation projects. Companies can develop, test and validate innovations using a unique portfolio of facilities, including Nick Bos Greenhouse, NovaBite, Kronos, Brightlabs and CookingLab. Together with the recently launched Brightlands High Tech Agro Robotics & AI Lab.
